General

Changes made in previous releases are listed in the following topics:

Command Mode

Command mode Test Activity allows you to control and dynamically alter the UE’s mobility procedure or next data transmission during test execution. The command mode test case, also allows you to have manual or automated control of the mobile subscriber's actions. You may specify the operation to be performed on a specific mobile subscriber, the type of events to execute (example, Attach, Detach, Handover, Add Bearers/contexts, Delete Bearer/Contexts, etc.), and the timing of the event during test execution.

Landslide 11.5 supports Command mode in GGSN Nodal, MME Nodal, OCS Node, SGW Nodal, PGW Nodal, UMTS Nodal, and PCRF Node testing.

DMF - Traffic Mix

The Traffic Mix and Payload Throughput window allows you to edit a DMF group by type and percentage of throughput. You may change the throughput in one of the following two ways:

You may edit Traffic Rate/Mix and Throughput at the table/pie chart level and are not required to open each DMF to make the change.

Relevant Links

AVP/VSA

AVP/VSA Quicklist provides you with functionality to add AVPs/VSAs to a test in required order and create a QuickList, which you may copy/ paste into another Test Case (in the same order as you created the original list).

CAPWAP Supports 802.1x UE authentication in WiFi Offload Gateway Nodal and SGW Nodal test cases.
DRA
  • Includes one-armed testing capability enhanced to wait for the remote peer to initiate a session.
  • Supports handling requests not configured in message-flows. Requests may not be configured as responses may cause issues with external SUTs.

DRA Nodal:

GGSN Nodal
  • Provides an option to include/exclude QoS negotiation in Update PDP Context request message.
  • Supports multiple sets of QoS Update
  • Supports On Demand Command update call flow to change LAI, RAI, ULI and Time Zone on a per MS basis

HSS Support for Equipment Identity Register (EIR)
MME
  • Supports GUTI  Reallocation for security reasons.
  • Makes the test run logs available and usable for NSN via CLI.
PCRF Node
  • Supports a maximum of 30 APNs per test case

  • Supports Time-of-Day AVPs and configurations and Time thresholds to Gx Usage Monitoring

  • Supports Tethering Event triggers for CCA(I) & CCA(U): For Command mode, the trigger values represent a bit position in the TRIGGER_MASK command value and the command footprints supports the 3 TRIGGER_MASK values as an unsigned 64-bit value.

SGW Nodal
  • Supports for CSFB and Modify Bearer Command in Command Mode (modify multiple Bearer Modifications when Test Activity=Command Mode/Sequencer)
  • Supports Wi-Fi to 4G Mobility over S2a with Wi-Fi Gateway
  • Supports VLAN for eNodeB user data
  • Support for Equipment Identity Register (EIR)

UMTS

  • Supports BVC-RESET from BSS on already established link.
  • Support the Radio Status Procedure: Gb  | BSSGP  | Radio Command Status (UMTS, SGSN Node, MME Nodal and Node TCs)

  • Supports the Radio Access Capability Procedure.

  • Supports XID Negotiation (as per 3GPP 44.064 specification)
