EIR

The Equipment Identity Register (EIR) tab is available when you select S13 or S13' on the HSS Node Emulator Configuration tab.  The EIR database is used to check an equipment identify against it's database. The MME/SGSN performs an identity check (after the initial attach) and sends a request to the EIR to check the equipment identity against its database.

You may configure the EIR database with a range of IMEIs and equipment status. The database table may include a maximum of 30 rows.  Within the table column, you may enter a range of IMEIs (Starting IMEI and Ending IMEI) and specify the equipment status as whilelisted, greylisted, or blacklisted.
