CGF

Landslide Charging Gateway Function enhancements include:

• Online and Offline Charging node emulation for testing charging events over the Ro/Gy and Rf interfaces

• Charging Gateway Function (CGF) node emulation for CDR testing over the Ga interface

• SGSN S-CDR, GGSN G-CDR and eG-CDR, SGW-CDR and PGW-CDR Validation functions for use with CGF node emulation to validate CDRs. See About CGF Emulation and The CGF Node Test Case.

Extreme Capacity

Landslide 9.5.1 supports an enhanced capacity and feature licensed per Test Server referred to as Extreme Capacity.

HSS

Supports HLR and HSS simulation to co-exist, that is, the S6a, S6d, Gr interfaces are all supported at the same time from a single emulated HSS/HLR. Also supports SWx, STa, and S6b function simultaneously for AAA emulation.

LTE Enhancements

Landslide 9.5 LTE supports adds enhancements to MME Nodal, SGW Nodal, and PGW Nodal testing.

• The MME Nodal Testing:

• Supports the Control Bearer on-demand Test Case Command.

• LTE/eHRPD S2a/S103 HO (Handovers between E-UTRAN and CDMA2000. HSS initiated disconnect during Session Load testing).

• Supports Circuit Switched Fallback to enable the provisioning of CS-domain services.

• EPS Attach Procedure:

• • Always sends IMEISV in the Security Mode Complete message.

  • Supports the MME to initiate EMS Information Request, by providing an option to include the ESM Information Transfer Flag in the PDN Connectivity Request.

• S3 interface to a simulated SGSN (S3 Interface to MME)

NOTE: In the current release (Landslide Release 9.5), when Gn Interface to MME is enabled and Default Bearers per Session is > 1, during test execution, only the configured MN/MS will be included in the Sessions Established measurements (on the Test Summary tab).

TCL Scripting API

Landslide 9.5 Tcl-based API allows total control of the Landslide system via the Tcl interface. All the capabilities available via Landslides GUI are available via Landslide’s Tcl API.

UMTS

• During UMTS GPRS testing, supports multiple source/destination UDP Ports for multiple NSEs configured, that is, increments only the IP Ports for each NSE defined, while the IP address remains the same for all the NSEs. Also supports multiple source/destination NSE Ports, while the IP address remains the same for all NSEs.

• Advanced Data Protocol: SAPEE (Scalable Application Playback Emulation Environment) Capture and Replay

• ASN Nodal:

• • Supports dynamic service flow, ervice flow creation, deletion, modification: UE Initiated Service FLow is available only for Capacity testing and WiMAX Forum Version = 1.1.3 only.

  • Include Source and Destination TLV in WiMAX R6 messages.

• HA Nodal: The Session Loading with Mobility or Inter-PDSN test activities during HA Nodal testing does not allow MIP IPSec selection.
