Additional PPP Options in LCP Negotiation

Protocol Field Compression, Address and Control Field Compression, LCP Terminate Timer  and Max LCP Terminate Retries configuration options have been added to PPP setup in End-to-End Mobile IP, FA Node and Nodal, GGSN Node and Nodal, Simple IP and Simple IP VLAN test cases.

Increased Maximum for MTU of Data Traffic

The maximum value for the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) variable is now 2000 bytes.

Ethernet Link Status Displayed

The Test Server Administration window now reports when an Ethernet link is down.

Configuration Templates for AAA NAS and GGSN General Tabs

On the NAS tab of the AAA Server Nodal, and General tab of the GGSN Nodal test cases, selecting an option from the Configuration drop-down menu causes associated settings to be populated for the test case.

Expanded Support for External Data

External data is now supported over IPSec tunnels as well as mixed with other DMFs using Continuous Data.

Event-Based Charging in AAA Diameter

Added support for event-based off-line charging as defined in 3GPP 32.299. The transmission of event-driven records and the frequency of sending the records can be selected.

Event Timestamp AVP Filled with Current Time

The Event Timestamp AVP is filled with the current time when you add the Event Timestamp AVP to the AVP configuration.

Direct Tunnel Interface Provides RNC IP Address and TEID

In UMTS testing, when the Direct Tunnel feature is enabled, configuration of the Alternate User Address, representing the RNC Direct Tunnel interface is now required.

Update Request Delay Option in Direct Tunnel settings

A user-configurable delay can be configured between the time that the Create Context Response is received and the Direct Tunnel Update Context Request is sent.

MSS-Initiated Handover for WiMAX Testing

In ASN Nodal testing for Session Loading with Mobility or Mobile Node Mobility, handoffs can be configured to be uncontrolled or fully controlled MN-initiated.

CSN Testing

The CSN Nodal test case tests/isolates the CSN and allows WiMAX clients to establish sessions with the HA and authenticate to the AAA server.

Support for Double EAP

In ASN Gateway and CSN Nodal testing, Single or Double EAP can be selected for authentication.
