Changes made in previous releases are listed in the following topics:
The Port Capture feature allows you to capture packets transmitted during the test for a maximum of 4 ports.
The Landslide client idle times is increased from 24 to 72 hours and a client will never be disconnected if it is monitoring a test. (Monitoring the Test Progress)
All client and TAS activities are logged in the Landslide Client Console Logger along with a reason for the activity. To view system messages received by the client, press Shift-Alt-L" and the Landslide Client Console Logger displays (Client Connection Status).
Includes feature support for data and performance accelerator that is activated on the licensed Test Server by reserving port to run your test session.
The Test Server Administration window shows the Ethernet link status.
Test cases have been redesigned to include a test case diagram panel and re-arrange the layout of the test case settings. The existing parameters have been grouped differently and no new types of parameter widgets have been added. Some settings that were in pop-up dialogs are now on sub-tabs and are visible only when they are applicable.
Includes more graph points during a test.
Includes support for Iu/Gb Flex per 3GPP 23.236.
You can configure MAC address to override the Hardware MAC address so the packets sent out the interface will use the provisioned MAC address rather the Hardware MAC Address.
Landslide 6.0 includes a new tab, the Network Browser tab, in the Test Session window. The tab contains an interactive diagram of all the different types of networks in which Landslide can test or simulate devices.
Supports routing outbound traffic via the selected interface.
Supports reservation of ports and run multiple instances of the test cases.
If a Test Server reports that an Ethernet interface is down, on the Test Server Administration window, the Ethernet interface name will show up in bold-red with a small down-arrow on the left of the physical interface.
The Tcl API commands allow you to configure and run scripting tests from your command interface.
Supports the ability to auto-increment the VLAN ID. The Mobile Node sub-tab includes an Advanced button to access the increment VLAN ID checkbox and # of VLANs parameter.
AAA Server Node and Nodal

Includes the following to enable/disable WiMAX support:
WiMAX Support checkbox that enables/disables the WiMAX settings on the MIP tab for HA Node and ASN Nodal
WiMAX checkbox that enables/disables the WiMAX support and MIP Root Key on the general section of the EAP dialog box for AAA Node
WiMAX MSK checkbox that enables/disables the WiMAX support on the EAP-TLS settings dialog box
The Data Message Flow allows you to set up the following advanced data protocols:
Avalanche: Simulate internet users accessing email, data, and popular web applications. Design and execute Avalanche tests.
ThreatEx: Simulate Internet threats and malicious data traffic. Design and execute threat tests.
The following options are included for the TCP layer of all data protocols:
Connect Only (option to open socket, and close, without traffic (TCP/SCTP only)
Window Size (allows to be 32 bits) (Window Size)
Enables/allows window scaling (only when window size < 65535) (Window Scaling)
Disconnect type ( RST or FIN) (Disconnect Type)
Support TCP Congestion Control by General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) test application
Data traffic and network measurements are displayed on Layer 3, Layer 4, and Layer 5-7 tabs. In addition, based on the protocol used in the DMF, sub-tabs display for all L5-7 protocols.
The Report options allows you to customize reports for any test session, specify the granularity and format of the Test Report (what to subtotal), and choose to also generate a Per Session Report for the test session or periodically save a Test Report during the test.
