In GGSN Nodal test case use the Command Mode Settings button to configure the following:
In UMTS test case use the Command Mode Settings button to configure the QoS Update tab to configure second set of QOS Update to be included in the Update PDP Context Request messages.
Use these parameters to define the PDP context update cycle and QOS profiles for your test. They are displayed on the QOS Update tab when the QOS Updates is checked on the Test Configuration/Emulator Configuration tab.
In the GGSN Nodal test case, you can define 6 sets of alternating QOS profiles: QOS Initial Values (on Gn > GTP tab)and QOS Updated Values (Settings > Command Mode Settings > QoS Update tab).
NOTE: In the GGSN Node test case, you can enable QOS Updates by selecting QOS Updates on the Emulator Configuration tab. You can define two sets of alternating QOS profiles: Initial QOS Values and Updated QOS Values (on Gn > QOS Update tab) |
In the UMTS test case, the QOS Update can be initiated by either the MN or the GGSN node. You can define 2 sets of alternating QOS profiles: QOS Initial Values (on IuPS > SM tab) and QOS Updated Values (Settings > Command Mode Settings > QoS Update tab).

Update Delay Time | The number of seconds to wait, after a PDP context is connected, before sending the update request. This timer is also used as the delay between updates when Continuous Updates is checked. Range: 1 — 10,000 Default: 60 Tcl Parameter: GtpQosUpdateTime |
Continuous Updates | Use the checkbox to configure the test with a cycle of repeating QOS updates through the duration of the test (checked), or a single QOS update (cleared). When continuous updates are selected, Update Delay Time defines the time to wait between updates. Tcl Parameter: ContinousQOSUpdatesEnable |
PDP IP Address Updates | When the update is initiated by a GGSN node in the UMTS test case, the IP addresses of all contexts will also be updated when you check the box. Tcl Parameter: PdpAddrUpdateEn Starting IP AddressDefine the starting address for the updates. The address will be incremented for each primary PDP context. Tcl Parameter: PdpAddrUpdate |

You can define the Mobile Updates to change each Mobile Subscriber's Location Area Information, User Location Information and MS Time Zone. Mobile Updates for each MS in GGSN Nodal Test Case allows you to define MS's current location, new routing area code, and time zone.
When you select Test Activity as Command Mode, clicking Settings allows you to define 10 sets of Mobile Subscriber location information, new routing area code, and time zone.
You define the first set on Gn > GTP tab and the additional nine sets (Set 2...Set 10) on the Command Mode Settings > Mobile UpdatesCommand Mode Settings > Mobile Updates window.
