General test system enhancements and enhancements to existing applications and features that are included in Release 4.1 are listed below.
EAP authentication is now supported in the AAA Server Nodal and AAA Server Node test cases.
Change of Authorization Requests are now supported in the AAA Server Node test case.
Proxy AAA Server support has been added to the AAA Server Nodal and AAA Server Node test cases.
In the FA Nodal test case, you can enable or disable support for dynamic HA address resolution.
MIP, PPP, and RP parameters can now be provisioned with Test Data Files.
New event controls have been added that allow you to dynamically set up and tear down Data IPSec tunnels.
AKA authentication is now supported in Advanced Data DMFs. New Auto-Fill Fields have been added to capture and insert encrypted values and the new EXECUTE_AKA event calculates the encrypted values to be inserted.
The maximum number of Auto-Fill Fields that can be used in one message has been increased to 5, and all extract field types now support the use of a Search Pattern.
When you import a message trace with the PDML to DMF Wizard, you can generate a Test Data File from the message contents.
Paste Buffers can now be initialized with Test Data Files.
Tunnel definitions for control plane IPSec and Data IPSec can now be provisioned with Test Data Files.
GTP and PPP parameters can now be provisioned with Test Data Files.
MIP parameters can now be provisioned with Test Data Files.
You can now choose to plot two measurements against Shared or Separate Y-axes and set default graphing options in your Client Settings.
The QOS Update Test has been added to the UMTS test case. The test can generate PDP context updates initiated by the MN or by the GGSN node.
The Session Loading and Session Loading with Mobility tests can be configured to include MN attaches and detaches in the session loading cycle or to only load test PDP context activations and deactivations.
CDR Generation support has been added with the Billing sub-tab (SGSN Billing Support feature required). A UMTS test can generate G-CDRs towards a CGF or generate G-LDRs towards a CGF Node for S-CDR validation.
Secondary PDP context activation can now be delayed until the context is required by a DMF. Event Message Flow Controls trigger secondary context activation and pause DMF execution until the context has been activated.
SCCP, RANAP, GMM, SM, and Gn parameters can now be provisioned with Test Data Files.
