LTE Phase 5

Landslide 8.0 LTE Phase 5 adds support for enhancements to MME Nodal, SGW Nodal, and PGW Nodal testing.

• The Short Message Service (SMS) is an an add-on option to the Landslide LTE MME Test application. It provides a means sending/receiving short message (SM) from GSM/UMTS mobile units in according to the packet format and procedure specified by 3GPP.  This is a licensed feature and the SMS configuration options will be visible only if your system is licensed for SMS.

• HSS Emulation supports S6a/S6d interfaces for testing in an LTE environment.

TCL Scripting API

Landslide 8.0 Tcl-based API allows total control of the Landslide system via the Tcl interface. All the capabilities available via Landslides GUI are available via Landslide’s Tcl API.

Reorganized the help to reflect the Graphical Test Cases Settings

The Following Test Cases have been reorganized to reflect the GUI layout changes. The existing parameters have been grouped differently and no new types of parameter widgets have been added. Some settings that were in pop-up dialogs are now on sub-tabs and are visible only when they are applicable.
