The Packet Control Function (PCF) Test Application supports testing the PCF in an End-to-End configuration into the core network.
Landslide 6.5 Tcl-based API has been expanded to allow total control of the Landslide system via the Tcl interface. This allows you to automate the Landslide system into your integrated test environment to manage, control and query the Landslide tests via the Tcl interface. All the capabilities available via Landslides GUI are available via Landslide’s Tcl API.
WiMAX Forum Release 1.5 supports the following:
Robust Header Compression (RoHC) — Supports WiMAX ASN-GW to negotiate uncompressed profile only.
Simple IP changes — Supports HA-less simple IP support. Applicable to ASN-GW and CSN Test Applications
PDF support — release 1.5 defines a Policy Distribution Function (PDF). Landslide can test this function stand-alone and can emulate this function stand-alone. Applicable to the PCRF Test Application and PCRF Emulation feature. Additionally, the PDF can also be tested as part of the ASN-GW test application.
Diameter support — in addition to existing RADIUS support, release 1.5 now adds support for Diameter. Applicable to CSN Test Application as well as AAA Test Application and AAA Diameter Emulation feature
Support 3GPP2/WiMAX inter-technology mobility
CSN Nodal Supports MIP Revocation
The Reauthentication option is now always available for EAP-TLS.
Supports Wm interface on Diameter Server to allow EAP authentication and any Auth-request-type (NASREQ/NASResponse) as part of the same session.
Supports DNS query of APN to determine GGSN address.
Landslide 6.5 supports TAS to use Java 6. The Clients and Tcl API also are requires to use Java 6 or later. With Java 6 allows you to increase Java Maximum Heap from 1650M to 1900M or more on systems with at least 4G of memory.
The Following Test Cases have been reorganized to reflect the GUI layout changes. The existing parameters have been grouped differently and no new types of parameter widgets have been added. Some settings that were in pop-up dialogs are now on sub-tabs and are visible only when they are applicable.
