Command Mode

Command mode Test Activity allows you to control and dynamically alter the UE’s mobility procedure or next data transmission during test execution. The command mode test case, also allows you to have manual or automated control of the mobile subscriber's actions. You may specify the operation to be performed on a specific mobile subscriber, the type of events to execute (example, Attach, Detach, Handover, Add Bearers/contexts, Delete Bearer/Contexts, etc.), and the timing of the event during test execution.

Landslide 10.5 supports Command mode in GGSN Nodal, MME Nodal, SGW Nodal, UMTS Nodal, and PCRF Node testing.

GGSN

Landslide 10.5 supports enhancements to Command mode in GGSN Nodal testing in addition to the following:

• R97 for QoS

• Type Of Service on the GTP layer for using Differentiated Services (GGSN Nodal/GGSN Node: DSCP Assignments).

• Command Mode support of Inter/Intra-SGSN HO Test Activity; Support for reAttach call flow GGSN command call flow.

• Data traffic Limits Ingress Speed HHTP DMF (Data Traffic Type>Link Speed Limits).

• Support for PDP type IPv4 and IPv6 (Double Bearer).

PCRF

These are some of the highlights of PCRF  testing features and enhancements.

• During inter-HSGW HO PBU sent to PCRF in CCR-U needs ability to get rules (add, delete, modify) (PCC Rules tab>Rules Set 1).

• Timer supports graceful stop if SUT does not response (PCRF Nodal>Diameter tab>Retry Time).

• Additional Event Trigger (Rel 9.6.0) (PCRF Node: PCC Rules;QoS Rules; PCRF DDCA Session;BBERF Session).

• Support for IMS Emergency Session (Emergency PDN)  (Help Added:PCRF Node Emulator Configuration; Mobile Subscribers topic).

• Supports two separate check boxes for CCA(I) and CCA(U) (VSA/AVP Template Parameters).

TCL Scripting API

Landslide 10.0 Tcl-based API allows total control of the Landslide system via the Tcl interface. All the capabilities available via Landslides GUI are available via Landslide’s Tcl API.

Wifi Offload Gateway Nodal (WOGW)

The Wifi Offload Gateway Nodal test case is used the test the Wifi-Offload Gateway (WOGW). The test case emulates an Access Point carrying UE data.

Landslide on Spirent Test Center

Landslide on Spirent TestCenter (STC) enables Landslide Test Server software to run on either an mX or an mXP module within a Spirent TestCenter Chassis. The Online includes the following for ease of reference.
