DNS

JMS Domain Name

The Jump start Management Server (JMS) is one of the elements of the UCM.  All UbiCells initially contact JMS during their boot operation. Use the checkbox to enter DNS (JMS) domain name, port and retry interval.

Tcl Parameter:

BootOpDnsJmsEn

BootOpDomainName

Port

Enter the boot operation DNS port.

Default: 1025

Tcl Parameter: BootOpDnsPort

Retries

Retries is the number of times a connection attempt will be re-transmitted after the retry time/interval expires.

Retry Interval

Retry Time is the value for the retry interval timer. The second retry attempt, if any, will be made after and the Retry Interval is exceeded.

JMS

Port

Enter the boot operation JMS port.

Default: 10626

Tcl Parameter: BootOpJmsPort

NTP

The UbiCell uses the standard NTP protocols to obtain the time from the network during boot operation.

Enter the following NTP system parameters for clock offset, roundtrip delay and dispersion, relative to the selected reference clock:

Default: 1.0

Tcl Parameter: BootOpNtpRootDelay

Default: 1.0

Tcl Parameter: BootOpNtpRootDispersion

Range: 1 — 65535

Default: 4

Tcl Parameter: BootOpNtpNumQueries

Range: 1 — 600

Default: 1

Tcl Parameter: BootOpNtpQueryInterval

SMS

The Secure Management Server (SMS).  One of the elements of the UCM. This is the element responsible for the day to day management of individual UbiCells.

Range: 1 — 65535

Default: 161

Tcl Parameter: BootOpSnmpPort

Range: 1 — 65535

Position

On the Boot Operation tab, Position indicates the latitude and longitude associated with a UbiCell. The position values increment when more than 1 Ubicell is configured. You can configure a unique per-Ubicell position value using the Apply Test Data File to Parameter Value option.

Define a starting Position along with increment values and boundaries to be assigned to the UbiCells. Each time a new Position is required the system will add the increment values to the last Position value to generate a new Position value.

NOTE: The range of value of the Position 1 and Position 2 is the same for Latitude, Longitude, Increment and Boundary.

Range: -2147483647 —  2147483646

Default: 0

Tcl Parameters:

BootOpPos1Latitude

BootOpLat1Increment

BootOpLat1Boundary

BootOpPos1Longitude

BootOpLong1Increment

BootOpLong1Boundary

BootOpPos2Latitude

BootOpLat2Increment

BootOpLat2Boundary

BootOpPos2Longitude

BootOpLong2Increment

BootOpLong2Boundary

NOTES:
  • When the Increment value is greater than zero, the Boundary value should not be less than the Latitude/Longitude value.
  • When the Increment value is less than zero, the Boundary value should not be greater than the Latitude/Longitude value.

Position Change on Reboot

Use this checkbox to indicate that the Ubicell is allowed Position Change on Reboot.

Tcl Parameter: BootOpRebootPosChangeEn
