The Network Host test case allows you to define a data model in a standalone test case that can be used as remote Network Host. This test case can be included in a test session with any data-capable nodal test case. Use the IPv6 CN Node test case as a remote Network Host with the IPv6 HA Nodal test case.
When your system is licensed for PCRF, during VoLTE testing, the Network Host provides functionality such that PCRF uses dynamic PCC to create and modify the dedicated media bearer.
See also About VoLTE Testing.
TIP: Double the data capacity of a test case by using the Network Host test case on a separate test server from the nodal test case. |
With this test case you define:
Number of Sessions
PCC (Rx), Diameter, and TCP (for VoLTE testing)
Maximum Transmission Unit
Reset Idle Host Traffic Session
Data Message Flow (See SIP RX (Mainflow) and RTP UDP SubFlow Bidirectional (Subflow))
Data IPSec (optional)
The processing measurements for the Network Host emulator are on the Network Host, AF Session, AF Node, and AF IP Instance tab.
