The values on the Diameter NAS Node, Diameter DCCA Node, AAA Server Node, BBERF Node, HSS Node, CTF Node and CDF Node tabs report the connection management measurements for emulated network elements involved in Diameter testing.
The Diameter Server Node tab report Connection Management measurements for OCS Node in OCS Node testing.
The CDF Node tab report Connection Management measurements for OFCS Node in OFCS Node testing.
The CTF Node tab report Connection Management measurements for OFCS Nodal in OFCS Nodal testing.
The AF Node tab report Connection Management measurements for Network Host test case when you are testing with Rx Interface (for VoLTE testing)
In the default view, the Reports tab displays the Summary view, which summarizes the measurements for the test session. If your test includes multiple test cases, you can view the report for a single test case by changing the report view...
Unless otherwise noted, cumulative values report the number of occurrences or rates calculated since the start of the test, and per-interval values report the number of occurrences or rates calculated during the interval. You can view either by changing the measurement values...
Elapsed Time is the first measurement on every tab. It reports the amount of time between the start of the test and the end of the report interval.
Test Iteration reports the current iteration in a repeating test session. It is only displayed when a Number of Iterations is defined for the test session.
The following measurements record the number and types of messages exchanged during Diameter testing.
In HSS Node testing, The Capabilities Exchange group identifies the potential capabilities exchanged between peer entities over the open control channel.
Capabilities Exchange Request Received — The number of Capabilities Exchange Request (CER) received from the initiator by the peer.
Capabilities Exchange Answer Sent — The number of Capabilities Exchange Answer (CEA) sent to the initiator.
Capabilities Exchange Request Sent — The number of Capabilities Exchange Request (CER) sent by the initiator to the peer.
Capabilities Exchange Answer Received — The number of Capabilities Exchange Answer (CEA) sent by the peer to the initiator.
Capabilities Exchange Answer Timeout — The number of times a Capabilities Exchange Request (CER) was sent by the initiator without receiving a Capabilities Exchange Answer (CEA) from the peer.
Device Watchdog Request Received — The number of times a Device-Watchdog-Request (DWR) was received due to no messages being exchanged between the initiator and the peer for some time.
Device Watchdog Answer Sent — The number of times a Device-Watchdog-Answer (DWA) was sent by the other peer.
Device Watchdog Request Sent — The number of times a Device-Watchdog-Request (DWR) was sent.
Device Watchdog Answer Received — The number of times a Device-Watchdog-Answer (DWA) was received.
Disconnect Peer Request Received — The number of times a disconnect peer request was received.
Disconnect Peer Answer Sent — The number of times a disconnect peer answer was sent.
Disconnect Peer Request Sent — The number of times a disconnect peer request was sent.
Disconnect Peer Answer Received — The number of times a disconnect peer answer was received.
RSR Received — The number of Reset Request was received by the Diameter server.
RSA Sent — The number of Reset Request Answer sent by the Diameter server.
The following measurements report the number of transaction failures by cause.
NOTE: If a timeout occurs — when the Wait Response Time expires — no attempt is made to re-transmit the request. |
Capabilities Exchange Answer Timeout — The number of times a CER was sent by the node without receiving a CEA from the peer.
Device Watchdog Answer Timeout — The number of times a DWR was sent by the node without receiving a DWA from the peer.
Disconnect Peer Answer Timeout — The number of times a DPR was sent by the node without receiving a DPA from the peer.
Invalid Messages — The number of times the peer's answer or request message could not be parsed.
Send Message Failed — The number of times TCP was temporarily unable to transport a message.
(EAP Measurements is not applicable in NH test case or HHS Node test case)
