When you select a QOS Update test, you can define when the updates begin, the number of updates that will occur, and the new QOS profile that is applied to the PDP contexts.
These instructions assume that you are working with a saved test session, and only provide information on defining this test activity. See Related Topics for instructions on configuring the test cases that can use a QOS Update test.

Edit the test case... that will run the test. Ensure that GTP Version is set to 1.
Select QOS Update Test on the Test Configuration tab or Emulator Configuration tab for Node test cases.
In an SGSN nodal UMTS test, select the QOS Initiator...
Click the Settings... button and a dialog window opens and displays the test activity parameters.
Define the start time for the updates with Update Delay Time... Each PDP context will be updated when its delay timer expires.
To configure the test with a repeating cycle of updates, check the Continuous Updates... box.
In a UMTS test, you can also update the IP address of every PDP context by checking the PDP IP Address Updates... box.
Configure the new QOS profile values.
Click OK to close the test activity window.
Click OK to apply the test case settings. If you have entered a value outside of the allowable range you will receive an error.
