Editing a Test Case

Use the Session Builder tab... to edit a test case's settings.

To edit a test case:

Double-click the test case, select the test case and click the Edit button, or right-click the test case and select Edit Test Case from the Test Case menu. The Test Case Settings window... displays the test case definition. Edit the definition and click Apply or OK to accept the changes.

NOTES:

If a test case has been upgraded since it was last edited, a Test Case Warnings/Errors dialog displays the changes that have occurred in the test case template (see Repairing a Test Case).
When you change the definition of a linked test case, you will be prompted to either save the test case or convert it to a local copy.
You can edit multiple test cases simultaneously and easily compare their parameter settings. When one or more test cases is open for editing, you cannot run or save the test session, change the test server assigned to a test case, or remove any test case from the test session.
