The HNB Security Node is available when HNB IPSec is selected on the Test Configuration tab. The HNB sets up a secure IPSec connection between itself and the SGW via the HNB-GW. The HNB then establishes a SCTP connection and registers with the HNB-GW.
With an Ethernet node, you can define:
The IP address and routing options... The Starting IP will increment for each node.
The MAC Address to override the Hardware MAC address so the packets sent out of the interface will use the provisioned MAC address rather the Hardware MAC Address.
The Outbound Traffic Port to disable the normal routing function and to force packets out of the selected interface.
Custom port selection... and error injection with the Advanced... button.
Measurements collected for Iuh interface in HNB testing, radio and transport related processing are reported on the SM, RUA, HNBAP, RANAP, HNB Node and SCCP report tabs.
1 Maximum rates, number of sessions, and number of emulated nodes vary depending on the test configuration and the test system's licensed capacity.
