MME Node Measurements

The values on the MME Node tab report the processing measurements and throughput of the eNodeB/MME emulators or RNC/SGSN emulators (depending on the type Serving Node selected), the number and types of messages sent and received by the MME/SGSN Nodes, and MME/SGSN session measurements. The Measurements display in the SGW Nodal test case.

In MME Nodal test case, when Test Activity is Inter-MME Mobility, you select SGW/PGW Node Emulation and either select S10 Interface to MME or not, MME Node displays MME GTP Instance measurements.

Measurement Values

In the default view, the Reports tab displays the Summary view, which summarizes the measurements for the test session. If your test includes multiple test cases, you can view the report for a single test case by changing the report view...

Unless otherwise noted, cumulative values report the number of occurrences or rates calculated since the start of the test, and per-interval values report the number of occurrences or rates calculated during the interval. You can view either by changing the measurement values...

Elapsed Time is the first measurement on every tab. It reports the amount of time between the start of the test and the end of the report interval.

Test Iteration reports the current iteration in a repeating test session. It is only displayed when a Number of Iterations is defined for the test session.

Emulator Measurements

The following measurements record all IP traffic processed by the node, including the Diameter, TCP, and IP layers:

IPSec Measurements

When Dynamic IPSec is used to encrypt Diameter traffic, the following measurements provide general information regarding IPSec SA establishment. More detailed measurements can be found on the IPSec tab.

Packet Discard Measurements

The following measurements record the number of packets discarded when Packet Discard error injection is used.
