Defining the Test Duration

Use the Automation Control tab... in the Test Session window to define the length of the test. You can define the duration in terms of time and in terms of the number of times (iterations) the test is executed.

To define the test duration:

• Use the Days (4 digits), Hours (3digits), Minutes (3digits), and Seconds (3 digits) fields to set the timed duration, and the Number of Iterations (5 digits)field to set the number of times the test session repeats.
  
  When you define Number of Iterations, the Test Iteration measurement is added to all report tabs.

  NOTES: The timed duration takes precedence over the iterations. If the test session is in the middle of a cycle when the time expires, the session is stopped. If Automation Control is used in the test session, only the Number of Iterations field is available to define the test duration. Tests that run for more than 500 iterations do not contain all of the Final Report intervals.
