Landslide emulates the Policy and Charging Rule Function (PCRF) Node and provides a configuration to test the SUT.
PDF Nodal | The PDF Nodal test case emulates PCRF Node to test a PDF SUT. You can emulate multiple nodes with the Number of Nodes setting1. |
SGW Nodal | The SGW Nodal test case supports interfacing with a PCRF Node (by adding the PGW Gx Interface to the emulated PGW Node). |
DRA Nodal |
In DRA Nodal test case, the PCRF interface allows testing of the PCRF (PCRF SUT) and the emulated PCRF Node.

Define the following:
Multi-Homed: Select to indicate that SCTP endpoint is multi-homed, where more than one destination transport address is used to reach the endpoint. Select to enable SCTP multi-homed 2x2 Mesh capabilities. One SCTP association has 2 multi-homed endpoints (EP1 and EP2), and each of them has 2 IP addresses, one primary address (Pri) and one Secondary address (Sec). Without enabling this parameter the communication paths are: EP1 Pri <==> EP2 Pri, EP1 Sec <==> EP2 Sec (total of 2 paths). After enabling this parameter the communication paths are: EP1 Pri <==> EP2 Pri, EP1 Pri <==> EP2 Sec,, EP1 Sec <===> EP2 Pri. and EP1 Sec <===> EP2 Sec. (total of 4 paths).
Tcl Parameter: PcrfNodeSctpMeshEn
Tcl Parameter: PcrfNodeMultHomedEn
Host: Depending on whether the node emulates originating or destination point, Host identifies the endpoint that originated the Diameter message or the Diameter Identity of the destination host.
Realm: Depending on whether the node emulates originating or destination point, Realm identifies the realm of the originator of any Diameter message or the realm the message is to be routed to.
With an Ethernet User Node, you can define:
The IP address and routing options... The IP Address will increment for each node.
The MAC Address to override the Hardware MAC address so the packets sent out of the interface will use the provisioned MAC address rather the Hardware MAC Address.
Custom port selection... and error injection with the Advanced... button.
Select default routing that were configured for the test server.
Select the Next Hop IP Address instead of using the test server's default route.
The Outbound Traffic Port to disable the normal routing function and to force packets out of the selected interface.
1 Maximum rates, number of sessions, and number of emulated nodes vary depending on the test configuration and the test system's licensed capacity.
