In HNB testing, the Iuh tab is used to define the radio and transport layers of the Iuh interface between the HNB and a HGW SUT. The settings for the appropriate protocols are displayed based on your UMTS Version selection.

Measurements collected for Iuh interface in HNB testing, radio and transport related processing are reported on the RUA, HNBAP, RANAP, HNB Node and SCCP report tabs.
Indicates whether the UE is Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) enabled or not.
Tcl Parameter: HnbapCsgIndicator_1
Each HNB (cell) has a unique Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) ID. Each UE (User Equipment) has an “Allowed CSG List”, containing a list of CSG IDs identifying the HNB to which the UE belongs. The Allowed CSG List is maintained and provided by NAS. A CSG HNB broadcasts its CSG ID in the system information to UEs for cell selection. The CSG cell may also broadcast its HNB Name to aid the UE in manual selection of a CSG ID.
The UE Registration Function for HNB provides means for the HNB to convey UE identification data to the HNB-GW in order to perform access control for the UE in the HNB GW. The UE Registration also informs the HNB-GW of the specific HNB where the UE is located.
The HNB registers a specific UE with the HNB-GW. The registration is triggered when the UE attempts to access the HNB via an initial NAS message (e.g., Location Updating Request) and there is no context in the HNB allocated for that UE.
Tcl Parameter: HnbapRegCause_1
Indicates the HNB's globally unique and permanent identity. For each HNB, a unique HNB IDs automatically increments.
Tcl Parameter: HnbapHnbId_1
Indicates the CSG Capacity - Options : Not CSG Capable (default) or CSG Capable.
If the HNB is CSG Capable and it operated in a Closed Access Mode (as defined in TS 22.220[15]), then it shall provide the CSG-ID IE and it may provide the HNB Cell Access Mode IE within the HNB REGISTER REQUEST message.
Tcl Parameter: HnbapCsgCapacity_1
Indicates the location information of the macro-cell used for The location locking mechanism based on macro-cells. The Cell ID is unique per HNB and automatically increments.
Tcl Parameter: HnbapCellId_1
Indicates the Cell Access Mode - Options : Open, Hybrid or Closed.
If the HNB operates in a Hybrid Access Mode (as defined in TS 22.220[15]), then it shall provide the CSG-ID IE and the HNB Cell Access Mode IE within the HNB REGISTER REQUEST message.
If the HNB operates in a Open Access Mode (as defined in TS 22.220[15]), then it shall provide the HNB Cell Access Mode IE within the HNB REGISTER REQUEST message.
Tcl Parameter: HnbapCellAccessMode_1
Indicates the CSG (Closed Subscriber Group) list.

The amount of time, in seconds, between the periodic echo messages that are sent to the SGSN detect path failures. Enter 0 to disable the echo messages.
Range: 0 to 3932100
Default : 0
Select to provide the Iurh Signalling TNL Address IE to the HNB-GW within the HNB REGISTER REQUEST Message. (Per 3GPP TS 25.469). Enter a valid IPv4 address.

Select to provide the CELL_FACH Mobility Support IE to the HNB-GW within the HNB REGISTER REQUEST Message. (Per 3GPP TS 25.469).
The HNB-GW shall, if supported, include the S-RNTI Prefix IE in the HNB REGISTER ACCEPT message.
Tcl Parameter: HnbapCellFachMobSupportEn_1
Select to provide the Neighbor Cell Identity List IE to the HNB-GW within the HNB REGISTER REQUEST Message. (Per 3GPP TS 25.469). If included, the HNB-GW may use the Neighbor Cell Identity List IE, the URA Identity LIST IE or the HNB Capacity IE when assigning the S_RNTI Prefix IE to the HNB.

Tcl Parameter: HnbapUraIdListEn_1
Tcl Parameter: HnbapUraIdList_1
Retries is the maximum number of attempts made by the HNB to send a message after the Ack Timeout has expired.
When Retry on Reject is selected, Retries also indicates the maximum number of attempts made by the HNB to register with the HNB-GW.
NOTE: The HNB testing continues to execute even after exhausting the retry attempts if the number of failed HnBs is below the threshold set for the HNB Control Node. The UEs remain evenly distributed across all HnBs, so only the subset of UEs assigned to successful HnBs activates. |
The value for the retry interval timer. The second retry attempt, if any, will be made after the Retry Time is exceeded.
When Retry on Reject is selected, Retry Time also indicates the amount of time the HNB waits before attempting to register again.
Tcl Parameters:
HnbapRetries_1 |
HnbapRetryTime_1 |
Select Retry on Reject to indicate that HNB attempts registration again after initial Registration Rejection.
The HNB attempts to register again after the initial registration rejection. The number of attempts made depends on the value you enter in the Retries parameter. The HNB waits for a period indicated in the Retry Time before attempting to register again.
TCL Parameter: HnbapRetryOnRejectEn_1
