Nudm NF Tab


The Nudm NF (Network Function) Producer tab is used in the Service Based Node test case and HSS Node Emulator Cnfg when Emulate UDM (Nudm) is enabled. Also available in the Service Based Nodal test case when Test UDR (Nudr) and From UDM (N35) or when Test NEF (Nnef) and Emulate UDM (N52) are enabled.

About the 5G Application.

Authentication

Select which authentication Algorithm to use.

You can only select one or the other, or both (5G AKA, EAP) in Service Based Nodal.

How to generate Home Network Key pair:

SSH to the Landslide test server or connect to any system that can execute the commands listed below:

For Profile <A>:

  1. openssl genpkey -algorithm x25519 -out x25519.key.pem
  2. openssl pkey -in x25519.key.pem -text
  3. Copy the output of the keys and remove the colons, use the hex public key on the Landslide AMF Nodal in the GUI and use the hex decimal private key on UDM ( or on AMF Node if UDM is emulated on it) in the GUI

For Profile <B> :

  1. openssl ecparam -name prime256v1 -genkey -conv_form compressed > prime256v1key.pem
  2. openssl ec -in prime256v1key.pem -text -noout
  3. Copy the output of the keys and remove the colons, use the hex public key on the Landslide AMF Nodal in the GUI and use the hex decimal private key on UDM ( or on AMF Node if UDM is emulated on it) in the GUI

5G AKA

Select an Authentication Algorithm for 5G AKA. Additional fields become available for input.

Secret Key

The MS's text or hexadecimal key that is associated with its GUTI and is used to derive the MME/LTE ciphering key.

OPc

A128-bit value derived from OP and K and used in subsequent computations. Hence, less sensitive and if obtained by third party.

NOTE: The OPc may be computed off the USIM if possible, since this provides the following:
  • Reduces complexity of the algorithms run on the USIM.
  • Enhanced security as the algorithms are designed to be secure whether or not OP is known to the attacker. Even if a large number of OPC, K pairs have been discovered it would be difficult to deduce OP.  That is, the OPC associated with any other value of K will be unknown, which makes it harder to for any crypt-analytic and forgery attacks.

TUAK Algorithm

Key This is the secret key and is analogous to the Milenage Secret Key field. Enter either a String value or a Hex value beginning with 0x.

Number of Single Nssais

 Select the number of Single Network Slice Selection Assistance Information (Nssais).

 A NSSAI is a collection of smaller components, Session Management NSSAIs (SM-NSSAI), which include a Slice Service Type (SST) and possibly a Slice  Differentiator (SD). Slice service type refers to an expected network behavior in terms of features and services (e.g. specialized for broadband or massive    IoT), while the slice differentiator can help selecting among several Network Slice instances of the same type, e.g. to isolate traffic related to different  services into different slices.

Session Management Subscription Data

DNN with Starting SUPI Mode via TDF

Select "DNN with Starting SUPI Mode via TDF" to allocate the SUPI from the DNN entry in the TDF file. Each Row (Multiplier Label) is a different DNN. SBI Node can support up to 1500 unique DNNs.

The SUPI values will be allocated based on the STARTING_SUPI and its range of each DNN entry from this TDF file. 

The available columns of TDF file is:

STARTING_SUPI SUPI_RANGE SM_INDEX NSSAI DNN_INDEX DNN_NAME

 

STARTING_SUPI shall be numeric, at most 15 digts.

SUPI_RANGE shall be numeric, in range 1..2147483647.

SM_INDEX shall be numeric, and in range 1..8.

NSSAI has format as ([0-9][0-9]*)(-)([0-9a-f][0-9a-f])* or ([0-9][0-9])*, the first part is SST which value is from 0 to 255, the second part is SD which value is from 1 to 6 Hex characters, the two parts are combined with '-', and the first part shall be mandatory, the second part can be optional.

DNN_NAME contains up to 63 characters, at least one character.
