The LAC node is used in the LNS Nodal test cases to simulate one or more L2TP Access Concentrators. You can specify multiple LAC nodes with the Number of Nodes1 parameter. When you provision multiple nodes, the MN sessions are spread evenly among them.
The Alternate LNS Node is available for failover support when you select Enable L2TP Failover on the Test Configuration tab. The number of Alternate LNS Nodes supported is in sync with the number of LAC Nodes you enter.
With an Ethernet node, you can define:
Custom port selection... and error injection with the Advanced... button.
The L2TP Node report tab displays the processing measurements for the LAC nodes.
1 Maximum rates, number of sessions, and number of emulated nodes vary depending on the test configuration and the test system's licensed capacity.
