AMF SBI Node

AMF SBI Node and the Target AMF SBI Nodes become available when relevant options in the Service Based Nodal Test Configuration , SMF Nodal Test Configuration , AMF Node Emulator Configuration ,are enabled.

AMF SBI Node becomes available when UDM (N8)  interface is enabled on SMF Nodal test Configuration.

In SMF Nodal Test Configuration when Test Activity = Inter-AMF Mobility, the Target AMF SBI Node TCL variables begin with "Mob".

Apply Test Data File to AMF Parameters

Select Use Alternate SBI Client Address and enter the Client side Starting IP Address.

Select Use Alternate SBI Server Address and enter the Alternate Server side Starting IP Address. Enter the Alternate Host, MCC, MNC, Pointer, Set ID, Region ID and NF Instance ID. Use for reroute/redirect when 503 is received - SBI Error Handling.

Select Enable Target AMF for Target Namf, Target AMF-SMF to become available for input. Available in SMF Nodal test case when Test Activity = Command Mode / Sequencer and Support Mobility SBI Sessions is enabled.

Enter Server IPv4 or IPv6 address configuration, # of Nodes from 1 to 1000.

Enter Host address. Default: AMF.SPirent.com

# of Nodes for the Target AMF SBI Node has been increased to 1000 in the Service Based Nodal test case when (Test NSSF (Nnssf)From AMF (N22)) is selected.

Additional details for Host, MCC, MNC, Pointer, Set ID and Region ID can be found in topic Control Node, AMF Node Section.

In SMF Nodal when Test Activity = Inter-AMF Mobility, select to configure MCC and MNC of Target AMF. If it is enabled, MCC & MNC of Target AMF Node should be set explicitly. Otherwise, MCC & MNC of Target AMF Node will be same as MCC & MNC in AMF SBI Node.

If NF Instance ID is selected, enter the NF Instance ID. You may change the default value however you must ensure it does not conflict with any other SBI node.

Format : UUID version 4: 4hexOctet-2hexOctet-2hexOctet-2hexOctet-6hexOctet

Apply Test Data File to AMF Parameters - Available in SMF Nodal test case for Capacity and Session loading tests only.

  • The MAC Address to override the Hardware MAC address so the packets sent out of the interface will use the provisioned MAC address rather the Hardware MAC Address.

  • The Outbound Traffic Port to disable the normal routing function and to force packets out of the selected interface.
