At least one SUT must be added to the system before any tests can be run. The SUTs you add to the database with the System Under Test Administration window... will be displayed as options in the System Under Test option used in test case definitions.

To add a SUT:
Select Admin > Systems Under Test from the Main menu.
Click Add and enter the SUT Name and Click OK.
The System Under Test Administration window... displays.
The SUT name you entered appears in the title bar and the label <Adding> identifies the mode (Add mode).
Save and Cancel buttons become available.
NOTE: If SUT Name is already in use, an error displays. |
Enter information on the General tab
Set the IP Address used in a test definition. See the field descriptions for guidelines and rules for the field values.
NOTE: If you are adding an HA SUT to be tested with the IPv6 HA Nodal test case, you must include the home link prefix length with the address to support Home Agent Discovery. |
Enter the information used to Connect to the SUT: Username, Password, Management IP Address and Private User Group (Select from dropdown menu- "Available to Everyone", or select a "User Group").
Click Meta Data tab and enter the relevant information associated with the SUT.
Click Save to add the SUT to the database. You will either receive a confirmation that the SUT was added and the SUT appears in the list.
NOTE: An error displays if the SUT definition failed validation testing. |
Continue working with SUTS, or click Close to close the window.
