About VoLTE ODCs Sequencer

VoLTE ODCs allow:

VoLTE ODcs/Sequencer functionality is available for:

VoLTE ODCs utilize script/action approach that was recently developed for VoLTE. Each ODC is a VoLTE script that consists of one or more VoLTE actions. User can use preconfigured built-ins VoLTE scripts or create any new one script using available VoLTE actions.

VoLTE built-in scripts cover the following functionality:

Provisioning VoLTE ODCs/Sequencer

VoLTE / Vo5G Nodal test cases (AMF Nodal, MME Nodal, SGW etc):

IMS Node:

Every Test Session has to have multiple pre-configured VOLTE scripts this session is associated with (unlike “Capacity Test” mode). Landslide’s GUI provides a way to pick an appropriate script while user is configuring a particular VoLTE ODC in Command Mode or Sequencer.  By default these scripts are copied from built-in scripts and preset in a table.

Gm tab will show available by default VoLTE scripts on top:

“Reset/Continue” column setting is used accordingly to control either user wants to start a new script (Starts New) for particular SIP subscribers or to continue the script previously performed (Continuation). Such scripts as End Call, Add Media and Remove Media are a “continuation” of “Simple Call” or “Place Call”.

Note: In the case of local IMS Node used on SGW Nodal or MME Nodal VOLTE ODC configuration becomes shared between VoLTE Nodal and IMS Node entities like DMF or Phone Book configurations.

ODC parameters

Only ODC common parameters are applicable for all VOLTE ODCs; no other (specific) parameters are needed:

User can create new or delete existing VoLTE ODCs by creating new or deleting existing VoLTE scripts.

The following example shows how to create a new VoLTE ODC:

Next time when user will select a VoLTE Command this new script - Script_8 - will be added to the command list:

VoLTE CommandMode Scripts, Caller Configuration Table View

In VoLTE Command Mode (or Sequencer) you get to define a list of Scripts from which you can execute via ODCs.

To help make sure your scripts are defined correctly, there is a dialog to show you the Caller configuration across all the Scripts, so that you can see the assigned Subscribers and Endpoints line up across multiple Scripts.

In this example, one script is doing every 4th Subscriber (1,5,9 & 2,6,10) and the other is doing odds/evens (1,3, 5 & 2,4,6) so they do not line up.
