Standardizing Tests

You can configure test cases and test sessions for use with a particular SUT configuration or to perform a particular type of test, and then store them in protected test libraries. Everyone can read from all of the test libraries, but some libraries can only be written to by users with elevated system permissions.

In this way, you can build a suite of standard tests and ensure that a benchmark test, for example, is consistently executed on each SUT. In addition to protecting test definitions, you can link a test session to a test case in the library and use the same test definition in multiple test sessions.

You can also export test sessions and test cases to a Test Suite file that can be imported on another test system.
