The TAS collects the test measurements reported by the test servers and formats and calculates interval values for the measurements defined by the test cases. The TAS also collects the operational messages generated by all test system devices that are involved in the test session, and compiles the messages in a Test Log.
The test case measurements and the log messages are displayed in the Test Session window on the Reports... and Logs... tabs respectively. The displays in the Reports and Logs tabs are dynamically updated while the test is running.
You can use several features to affect the way measurements are displayed and to analyze the results:
Display the aggregate measurements for the test session or the measurements for a single test case
Display the interval values as cumulative measurements or display the measurements collected in each interval
Graph up to two measurements
The final test report is saved to the TAS when the test is complete. You can define the content and format of the final report or capture a report while the test is running using any of the following options:
Test session, test case, or individual mobile node measurement granularity
Cumulative or interval measurement values
Excel or comma-separated value (csv) formats
The test log contains detailed progress messages, warnings, and errors throughout the life of the test session, and is a valuable aid in troubleshooting problems with a test configuration. You can capture the log during execution or retrieve the test log that is automatically saved when the test is complete.
TAS File Cleanup :
Results storage is checked at a minimum when every other test session completes. When the TAS determines that file cleanup needs to take place (See additional TAS Setting details in topic Edit Settings), it will execute Results Cleanup and indicate "Over quota" in the Real-Time Logs.
The TAS will log the following message to the Real-Time Logs when file cleanup happens:
USER DATE-TIME SEVERITY TYPE ACTION MESSAGE
<system> 2017-04-12 17:58:53 Informational SysAdmin Run Over quota in results storage, 17672 oldest files deleted
