Log Search Criteria

Searching the Real-Time Logs

The following table describes the criteria used to search the system logs.

IMPORTANT: The selections in these fields constrain the messages included in the search to only the messages that contain the values selected. To include all possible values in the search, clear the selections or value in the criteria.

NOTE: The log search criteria defaults to a start time of exactly 24 hours earlier, with Log Level as Operations and Severity as Informational messages.

Field Description Values Default

Log Level

Selects the types of log to include in the search. If all checkboxes are cleared, all types are included in the search.

The options available are governed by your system permissions.

Common Queries

Selecting one of the options will fill out the dialog for the given search and reset the selector back to <Select>.

Some Text filtering ideas:
-All Test Server related messages should start with TS(<NAME>) , e.g. TS(TS139): Upgrade Status: TSU,20,10.32,Step: S40
-All Test Session, STR, DU Nodal, and DTA test messages should start with Id(<RUN ID>), e.g. Id(3): Calling test server(s) to start test

Most actions that cause a change in the system will include the Client ID that caused the change and will with either start with or contain <ID>@<IP>, e.g. Id(2): [email protected]: Preparing Resources for IP-App 2 UEs 5 Network Hosts 5 DMFs from the dan User's library.   You can trace every important action that client did via this text
