Stations Measurements

The values on the Stations tab reports the processing measurements for the Wifi Offload Gateway Access point in a Wifi Offload Gateway Nodal test. The tab also report EAPOL Start and EAPOL Logoff messages, that is, the four key messages and two key group messages exchanged according to the IEEE 802.11 specification.

Measurement Values

In the default view, the Reports tab displays the Summary view, which summarizes the measurements for the test session. If your test includes multiple test cases, you can view the report for a single test case by changing the report view...

Unless otherwise noted, cumulative values report the number of occurrences or rates calculated since the start of the test, and per-interval values report the number of occurrences or rates calculated during the interval. You can view either by changing the measurement values...

Elapsed Time is the first measurement on every tab. It reports the amount of time between the start of the test and the end of the report interval.

Test Iteration reports the current iteration in a repeating test session. It is only displayed when a Number of Iterations is defined for the test session.

Message Counters

The following measurements record the number and types of messages exchanged between the WTP and WOGW/AC.

Association Requests Sent Indicates the number of IEEE 802.11 Association Request frames sent to the GW/AC from the WTP.
Association Responses Received

Indicates the number of Association Responses received by the WTP from the GW/AC.

The GW/AC may reply with a failed Association Response frame if necessary. When the WTP received a failed Association Response frame from the GW/AC, the WTP sends a Disassociation frame to the station.

Reassociation Requests Sent Indicates the number of IEEE 802.11 Reassociation Request frames sent to the GW/AC from the WTP.
Reassociation Responses Received

Indicates the number of Reassociation Responses received by the WTP from the GW/AC.

WLAN EAPOL PTK Msg1 Sent Indicates the first key message sent by AC.
WLAN EAPOL PTK Msg1 Received Indicates the first message received by AP, it is counted when AP receives the first  message.
WLAN EAPOL PTK Msg2 Sent Indicates the second key message sent by AP, counted when AP sends the second message.
WLAN EAPOL PTK Msg2 Received Indicates the second message received by AC.
WLAN EAPOL PTK Msg3 Sent Indicates the third key message sent by AC.
WLAN EAPOL PTK Msg3 Received Indicates the third message received by AP, counted when AP receives the third message.
WLAN EAPOL PTK Msg4 Sent Indicates the fourth key message sent by AP, counted when AP sends the fourth message.
WLAN EAPOL PTK Msg4 Received Indicates the fourth message received by AC.
WLAN EAPOL GTK Msg1 Sent Indicates the first key group message sent by AC when the key is changed.
WLAN EAPOL GTK Msg1 Received Indicates the first key group message received by AP, counted when AP receives the first message.
WLAN EAPOL GTK Msg2 Sent Indicates the second key group message sent by AP, counted when AP sends the second message.
WLAN EAPOL GTK Msg2 Received Indicates the second key group message received by AC, counted when AC receives the second message.
