The values on the Billing tab report the CDR collection and validation measurements for the CGF Node test case and data record transmission measurements for the GGSN Nodal and UMTS test cases.
NOTE: Data Record Request
indicates the request from CGF clients, in SGW Nodal and Node,
PGW Nodal and Node test cases.
Total Count and Discarded Request indicates the request from CGF clients, in SGW Nodal and Node, PGW Nodal and Node test cases. |
In the default view, the Reports tab displays the Summary view, which summarizes the measurements for the test session. If your test includes multiple test cases, you can view the report for a single test case by changing the report view...
Unless otherwise noted, cumulative values report the number of occurrences or rates calculated since the start of the test, and per-interval values report the number of occurrences or rates calculated during the interval. You can view either by changing the measurement values...
Elapsed Time is the first measurement on every tab. It reports the amount of time between the start of the test and the end of the report interval.
Test Iteration reports the current iteration in a repeating test session. It is only displayed when a Number of Iterations is defined for the test session.
The following measurements record the number and type of Data Records maintained by the CGF node or transmitted by GTP' nodes.
NOTE: Total Count and Discarded Request indicates the request from CGF clients, in SGW Nodal and Node, PGW Nodal and Node test cases. |
Data Records/Sec — The average number of Data Records received or transmitted per second.
Data Records — The total number of Data Records transmitted by a GTP' node or received by a CGF node.
GGSN Data Records — The number of G-CDRs received by a CGF node or transmitted by a GGSN GTP' node.
Landslide GGSN Data Records — The number of G-LDRs received by a CGF node or transmitted by a GGSN GTP' node.
SGSN Data Records — The number of S-CDRs received by a CGF node or transmitted by an SGSN GTP' node.
SGSN Mobility Records — The number of M-CDRs received by a CGF node or transmitted by an SGSN GTP' node.
Landslide SGSN Data Records — The number of S-LDRs received by a CGF node or transmitted by an SGSN GTP' node.
Data Record Errors — The number of Data Records received that contain an unknown information element. This error will not prevent CDR validation if the known elements can be parsed. If Collection Mode is used in the test, a hex dump of the element is included in the test results.
Data Record Fatal Errors — The number of Data Records received that could not be correctly parsed and therefore could not be validated.
Free Billing Records — The number of available Data Records in a CGF node. This measurement begins with the Maximum Data Records and is decremented as Data Records are established.
Active Billing Records — The number of Data Records currently maintained by a CGF node.
Logged Billing Records — The number of Data Records written to the test results when Collection Mode is used in the test.
Partial Data Records — The total number of Partial Data Records received by a CGF node.
Pgw Data Records — The number of PGW-CDRs received by a CGF node or transmitted by a PGW node.
Landslide Pgw Data Records — The number of PGW-LDRs received by a CGF node or transmitted by an PGW node.
Sgw Data Records — The number of SGW-CDRs received by a CGF node or transmitted by a SGW node.
Landslide Sgw Data Records — The number of SGW-LDRs received by a CGF node or transmitted by an SGW node.
Data Records (Possibly Duplicated) — The number of Data Records (possibly Duplicated) sent by a primary CFG Node to a secondary CFG Node during a failover or redirection process to prevent send duplicate CDRs.
Data Records (Empty) — The number of Data Records (Empty) sent by the primary CGF Node to a secondary CGF Node. This Data Records (Empty) message is normally used when sending empty test packets with sent but not yet acknowledged data records (sequence numbers) after a secondary/peer node or link recovery). This record helps check if the CGF had received some Data Record Packets (whose acknowledgement did not come to the Data Record Packet sending node) before the link to the recipient node became inoperable.
Cancel Data Records — The number of cancel data request records received. If the primary CGF responds to the test message with the Cause value "Request related to possibly duplicated packets already fulfilled", the CDF cancels the corresponding CDRs waiting for final decision in the secondary CGF, using the Packet Transfer Command "Cancel Data Record Packet".
Release Data Records — The number of release data records received. When the empty test packet to the primary CGF (which was not available) receives a response with the Cause value as "Request Accepted", the CDF releases the corresponding CDRs waiting for final decision in the secondary CGF to the BD with the Release Data Record Packet message.
Egsn Data Records — The number of eG-CDRs received by a CGF node or transmitted by GGSN node.
The following measurements report CDR, Per-Flow, and Triggering validation processing by the CGF Node test case.
Record Validation Attempts — The number of CDRs that the test attempted to validate.
Record Validation Successes — The number of CDRs that were successfully validated.
Record Validation Failures — The number of CDRs that were failed validation due to one of the errors listed below.
Record Validation Pending — The number of CDRs that have not yet been validated. Receipt of a CDR or LDR is required to proceed with CDR validation.
Record Attribute Missing — The number of CDRs that could not be validated due to a missing attribute.
Record Attribute Mismatch — The number of CDRs that failed validation due to a discrepancy between the CDR and LDR.
LDR Time Failed — The number of times an LDR was not received before the LDR Timer expired.
CDR Time Failed — The number of times a CDR was not received before the CDR Timer expired.
Partial Volume Failed — The number of partial CDRs that failed volume triggering validation.
Partial Time Failed — The number of partial CDRs that failed duration triggering validation.
Partial Volume Success — The number of partial CDRs that passed volume triggering validation.
Partial Time Success — The number of partial CDRs that passed duration triggering validation.
Per-Flow Record Not Found — The number of times Per-Flow Validation could not be performed because the CDR did not contain a per-flow record.
Per-Flow Record Classification Attempts — The number of per-flow records that the test attempted to classify.
Per-Flow Record Classification Successes — The number of per-flow records that were successfully classified.
Per-Flow Record Classification Failures — The number of per-flow records that could not be classified.
Per-Flow Record Classification Template Mismatch — The number of times record classification failed due to a discrepancy between the defined template and the record attributes.
Per-Flow Record Validation Attempts — The number of per-flow records that the test attempted to validate.
Per-Flow Record Validation Successes — The number of per-flow records that were successfully validated.
Per-Flow Record Validation Failures — The number of per-flow records that failed validation.
Per-Flow Record Attributes Missing — The number of per-flow records that failed validation due to a missing attribute.
Per-Flow Record Attributes Mismatch — The number of per-flow records that failed validation due to a discrepancy between the CDR and LDR.
The following measurements record CDR Validation failures by attribute. When Per-Flow Validation is performed, a set of vendor-specific measurements corresponding to the validation settings record failures by attribute.
NOTE: The Charging Gateway Function IPv6 router advertisement messages sent by the GGSN may not be correctly counted (bytes sent vs bytes received), which results in Record Validation Failures. |
