CoA Measurements

The values on the CoA-Disconnect tab report Change of Authorization processing measurements and Disconnect request processing for the AAA Server Node test case.

Measurement Values

In the default view, the Reports tab displays the Summary view, which summarizes the measurements for the test session. If your test includes multiple test cases, you can view the report for a single test case by changing the report view...

Unless otherwise noted, cumulative values report the number of occurrences or rates calculated since the start of the test, and per-interval values report the number of occurrences or rates calculated during the interval. You can view either by changing the measurement values...

Elapsed Time is the first measurement on every tab. It reports the amount of time between the start of the test and the end of the report interval.

Test Iteration reports the current iteration in a repeating test session. It is only displayed when a Number of Iterations is defined for the test session.

Message Counters

The following measurements record the number and types of messages exchanged between the AAA node and the CoA SUT.

The following measurements record the types of messages exchanged between AAA Node and NAS SUT.

Black Hole Time

The following measurements track the elapsed time from the transmittal of a CoA Request triggered by an Access Request to the transmittal of a CoA Request signaling the start of accounting. During that time, the MN could conceivably take actions that would be restricted by the policy dictated by the CoA SUT.

NOTES:

  • To obtain accurate Black Hole measurements, the User-Name AVP must be included in Accounting Request messages received by the node and each MN can have only one accounting session.

  • In the Summary view, the minimum and maximum measurements report the minimum and maximum values observed across all test cases during the life of the test session. Test case measurements report the values observed over the life of the test case.

Error Counters

The following measurements report errors encountered by the node.
