The values on the MIP tab report the processing measurements for the Mobile IP sessions with an HA, and are available in the CDMA2000 End-to-End Mobile IP and FA Nodal test cases and in the Mobile IP CDMA/WiFi Convergence test case.
In the default view, the Reports tab displays the Summary view, which summarizes the measurements for the test session. If your test includes multiple test cases, you can view the report for a single test case by changing the report view...
Unless otherwise noted, cumulative values report the number of occurrences or rates calculated since the start of the test, and per-interval values report the number of occurrences or rates calculated during the interval. You can view either by changing the measurement values...
Elapsed Time is the first measurement on every tab. It reports the amount of time between the start of the test and the end of the report interval.
Test Iteration reports the current iteration in a repeating test session. It is only displayed when a Number of Iterations is defined for the test session.
The following measurements record the number and types of messages exchanged during MIP session establishment and tear down.
Agent Advertisements Received — The number of agent advertisements received from an FA.
Agent Solicitations Sent — The number of agent solicitations sent to an FA.
RRQ Messages Sent — The number of registration requests sent to an FA.
RRP Messages Received — The number of registration replies received from an FA.
Deregistration Messages Sent — The number of registration messages sent containing a lifetime value of zero, indicating that the call should be de-registered.
Deregistration Reply Messages Received — The number of de-registration reply messages received.
Re-register Attempts — The number of re-registration messages sent.
The following measurements report the number of Mobile IP session failures by cause, including FA and HA errors by error code.
FA Busy — The number of agent advertisements received indicating that an FA is busy and cannot accept new mobile registrations.
No Registration Reply — The number of timeouts that have occurred while waiting for a registration reply message in response to a registration request message.
NOTE: This error will not prevent the session from being established if a reply is received before all retries have been exhausted. |
Registration Retries Exceeded — The number of MIP registration attempts that resulted in the number of retry attempts being exceeded. You can define both the retry interval and the maximum number of retries.
MIP Invalid Packets— The number of packets discarded by the MIP layer, including packets with invalid checksums and packets that fail MIP validation checks.
MIP Successes — The number of successful MIP session attempts.
MIP Failures — The number of MIP session attempts that failed due to one of the errors listed.
Disconnect Count — The number of sessions that have been disconnected.
Average Connect Time — The average time, in microseconds, required to establish a MIP session.
Average Disconnect Time — The average time, in microseconds, required to tear down a MIP session.
