Measurements collected for RF interface in OFCS Nodal are reported on CTF Node and CtF Session tabs.

APN Assignments

Case Sensitive APNs

Use checkbox to indicate APN Names are case sensitive.

Tcl Parameter: CtfApnCaseSenseEn

APN 0 thru APN 10

Use the APN pane to define the APN values assigned to bearer contexts. You can define one APN for all contexts or a different APN for every context.

The number of APNs available for input depends on the Default Bearers per Session you selected on the Mobile Subscriber pane of the Test Configuration tab. The APN requires a range of  2 - 50 characters and each APN must be unique.

Tcl Parameter: CtfApn0CtfApn10

Accounting Settings

Interim Update Mode

Interim Message is processed from a different Rf interface from the one that sent initial ACR message.

Use the drop-down list to select the method for setting the Interim message interval time or to suppress Interim messages. The interval timer is unique to each accounting session. Scheduled updates can be sent to the first sessions while the rest of the sessions are being started.

Options:

  • No Interim — Interim messages are not sent.

  • Always Use Configured — Interim messages are always sent using the Configured Time interval.

  • Always Use Received — Interim messages are always sent using the interval requested by the SUT in the Acct-Interim-Interval AVP. If the value is 0 or if the AVP is not received, Interim messages are not sent.

  • Use Configured If Non Received— Interim messages are sent using the interval requested by the SUT. If the Acct-Interim-Interval AVP is not received, the Configured Time interval is used.

Default: Always Use Configured

Tcl Parameter: CtfInterimUpdateMode

Configured Time (s)

Enter Configured Time in seconds

Range: 1 to 1000

Default : 10

Tcl Parameter: CtfInterimTime

NOTE: A short Configured Time(s) adds increased load on the Test Server.  This can become detrimental in cases where a heavy data load is present.  If the Offline Charging System is not receiving the number of Interim messages expected from the CTF, it is recommended to reduce the data load or increase the Configured Time(s).

Include SGSN Address

Use checkbox to Include SGSN Address. Enter Valid IPv4 or IPv6 address of SGSN.

Tcl Parameter: CtfSgsnAddrEn

Tcl Parameter: CtfSgsnAddr

Include GGSN Address

Use checkbox to Include CGSN Address. Enter Valid IPv4 or IPv6 address of CGSN.

Tcl Parameter: CtfCgsnAddrEn

Tcl Parameter: CtfCgsnAddr

Accounting Data

PGW SGW

Accounting Data can be configured under tab PGW and/Or SGW. The tabs are enabled per selection on the Test Configuration tab.

Define D1 through D11 - Accounting parameters

The number of D1 through D11 (accounting parameters) available for input depends on the Default Bearers per Session you selected on the Mobile Subscriber pane of the Test Configuration tab.

Select to specify different profiles for PGW and/or SGW on the available tabs.

Accounting Data Parameters
Class Identifier

The Class Identifier applies to the Uplink (UL) and Downlink (DL) IP flows. LTE test cases provide you with the ability to configure various QCI.

Range: 1 to 255

Default: 1

Tcl Parameter:

CtfPgwClassId_1 CtfSgwClassId_1
ARP Priority Level

Use the ARP (Priority of Allocation and Retention) to determine the relative priority level during admission and congestion processes.

The primary purpose of ARP is to decide whether a bearer establishment/modification request is accepted or needs to be rejected in case of resource limitations (typically available radio capacity in case of GBR bearers). In addition, the ARP is also used (e.g. by the eNodeB) to decide which bearer(s) to drop during exceptional resource limitations (e.g. at handover). Once successfully established, a bearer's ARP does not have any impact on the bearer level packet forwarding treatment (e.g. scheduling and rate control).

Range: 1 - 15

Default: 1

Tcl Parameter:

CtfPgwArpValue_1 CtfSgwArpValue_1

Maximum Bit Rates

Include Maximum Bit Rates for UL (Uplink) and DL (Downlink) traffic.
