WLAN Profile


The WLAN Profile tab is used to populate the WLAN subscriber information (WLAN-USER-DATA-AVP).

The HSS Server via the Wx interfaces enables transfer of subscription and authentication data for authenticating/authorizing user access to the evolved system (AAA interface) between AAA and HSS.

Enable WLAN Subscription Barring

Select the checkbox to bar users from the WLAN interworking Services. Enter the User Range to Bar.

To User - Ending User to bar from interworking services

Enable External IP Network Access

Enable if a user can access an External IP network like the Internet.

Session Timeout

Enter the time at which a Re-Auth request is sent. If 0, the session will be authorized indefinitely.

Range: 0 - 65535

Default: 2

Select the checkbox to indicate WLAN #3GPP IP access.

 Subscriber Groups and W-APN assignments

Select to enter up to 100 Subscriber Groups - Assign a specific APN to each selected Subscriber Group.

Options: 1 - 100

Up to 100 Subscriber Groups and W-APNs. Number of Groups from 1 to 100.

Configure the Wireless Access Point Name (W-APN).

Select the number of W-APNs to configure.
