Use the TAS Manager Console or the TAS Manager Web UI to manually synchronize the TAS with its assigned NTP server and to view the current synchronization status. You can also view the NTP status from within the application window.

Not-In-Sync | Red | If first row of trace contains stratum15 or stratum16 or stratum 16 |
In-Sync | White | If there are more than 2 rows |
In-Sync (See trace) | Green | If there are 2 or fewer rows |
The NTP server assigned to the TAS can also be changed using the ipcfg script and via Configuring the Interface Ports and NTP.
To display the NTP status:
Select System > NTP Status from the TAS Manager Console menu and the current status is displayed in the message area.

Select Actions > NTP Status from the TAS Manager Web UI menu and the current status is displayed in the message area.
Select View > TAS NTP Status from the Main menu and the TAS NTP Status window opens and displays the current status.
To synchronize the TAS:
Select System > NTP Resync from the TAS Manager menu and the command progress is displayed in the message area.
Select Actions > NTP Resync from the TAS Manager Web UI menu and the command progress is displayed in the message area.
