About CDMA Voice Testing
Add
support for CDMA voice over A1p/A2p interface between BSC and MSCe in
Landslide. Landslide can emulate MS + BSC, and the SUT is MSCe.
CDMA
Voice Nodal and to
support back-to-back testing CDMA MSCe Node are available for testing
(Internal Testing only).

Tests are supported)
- To support the test of CDMA voice over A1p/A2p interface, a call
function has been implemented based on the Call Control procedures.
On CDMA Voice Nodal test case, we support two types of call
function patterns: Mobile-to-Mobile Disabled and Mobile-to-Mobile
Enabled.
- If mobile-to-mobile is disabled, the CC entity of the UE will
be emulated on CDMA Voice Nodal test case, and the CDMA MSCe Node
test case will emulate the CC entity of both the network and the
other call party UE to support back-to-back test.
- The following call function patterns can be configured to support
back-to-back test for this situation:
- CDMA Voice Nodal: All Originate, CDMA MSCe Node: All Terminate
- All calls are originated by UE.
- CDMA Voice Nodal: All Terminate, CDMA MSCe Node: All Originate
- All calls are originated by network.
- CDMA Voice Nodal: OTOT…, CDMA MSCe Node: TOTO…
- The calls 1, 3, 5 …are originated by UE, and the calls
2, 4, 6 … are originated by network
- CDMA Voice Nodal: TOTO…, CDMA MSCe Node: OTOT..
- The calls 1, 3, 5 …are originated by network, and the calls
2, 4, 6 … are originated by UE.
- If mobile-to-mobile is enabled, the CC entity of the UE will be
emulated on CDMA Voice Nodal test case, and the CDMA MSCe Node test
case will only emulate the CC entity of the network to support back-to-back
test.
The following call function patterns can
be configured to support back-to-back test for this situation:
- CDMA Voice Nodal: OTOT…
The call pairs between the UEs
will be 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 …. The UEs 1, 3, 5 …will be call originators
and UEs 2, 4, 6 …will be terminators respectively. The CDMA MSCe
Node will act like a real MSCe to support the mobile to mobile
call.
- Call hold time and call pending time will be configured to support
multi-time call emulation.
- The voice traffic over the A2p interface will be emulated by rtpvoice
DMF. The voice traffic will be started as a configurable delay time
elapses since the call is established and be stopped as the call is
cleared.
- The call clearing procedure will be initiated by the originator
after the call hold timer expires during call emulation. But at the
stopping phase of test, the call clearing procedure will be initiated
in the CDMA Voice Nodal test case no matter it’s originator or terminator.
