Using the TCL API

The Tcl scripting APIs, similar to the GUI based environment, allows you to test all of the network elements in an end-to-end configuration. The Tcl API commands allow you to configure and run scripting tests from your command interface.

  1. Click the TCL API link on the Landslide Home Page to display the available options.

  2. Click either the Linux or the Windows version of the API, as required, and save the JAR/Zip file to your local drive.

  3. Click the Landslide API Packages/Files link and save the zip file to your local drive.

  4. Click the Install/Upgrade Instructions link to display/open the file and install the API according to the instructions provided.

  5. Run tests using the API commands.

NOTE: The README.txt file included with the Landslide API Packages/Files provides you with a list of the supported API and an example of the script execution.
