The PCC tab on Gx protocol tab contains the parameters that define the Gx interfaces to the PCRF. The PCC ab on the PCC-R3-P protocol tab contains the parameters that define PCC-R3-P interface to the PDF.
In PCRF Nodal test case, Landslide emulates the Access Gateway (AGW) to provide the Ty/Gx interface to the PCRF.
In PDF Nodal test case, Landslide emulates the Access Gateway (AGW) to provide PCC-R3-P interface and PCRF to provide Ty/Gx interface to the PDF SUT.

APN 0 ... APN 10 | The values are enabled when you select Enable APN Assignemnts and the number of APN values fields (APN 0 — APN 10) are enabled based on the number of Default Bearers per Session you selected on the Test Configuration tab. Enter the APN Names as required. Option: 2 - 50 characters (non incrementing field) Tcl Parameter: TyCcClnApn0 (TyCcCInApn1, ....TyCcCInApn10) |
NOTE: Simulated Usage controls are not used in DRA Nodal test case, as it uses the message flows and message timers to simulate what messages are sent and when they are sent. |
Enable Simulated Usages | Select Simulate Usage to allow PCEF to simulate volumes used for uplink and/or downlink volumes of an active Bearer per usage interval. The PCEF accumulates the simulated usages and sends reports to PCRF when the accumulated volumes reach the usage threshold you imposed by PCRF.
Usage Interval | Indicates the period for which the PCEF simulate volumes used for uplink and/or downlink volumes of an active Bearer. Tcl Parameter:
The number of Default Bearers tabs (labeled D0, D1, ...Dn) available for configuration depends on the number of Default Bearers per Session you selected on the Test Configuration tab.
For default bearers, the PDN Connection Delays (Test Configuration tab) are set as the start delay for the first APN. PDN Activation Rate (Test Configuration tab) specifies the rate for starting all the default bearers, except the first one.
NOTE: The bearer timers (Bearer Establish after Session Established Timer and Bearer Teardown after Bearer Established Timer) are not used in DRA Nodal test case, as it uses the message flows and message timers to simulate what messages are sent and when they are sent. |
Enter the timer value (in seconds) for when the bearer sessions will be established. The establishment will cycle continuously for the duration of the test at the configured rates. Tcl Parameter: TyCcClnBearerEstTimer_0
Enter the timer value (in seconds) for when the bearer sessions will be torn down. The teardown will cycle continuously for the duration of the test at the configured rates. Tcl Parameter: TyCcClnBearerTeardownTimer_0
Use UE Initiates Dedicated Bearers to indicate whether UE (or network) initiates dedicated bearers creation procedure. The parameter is available only when you select Dedicated Bearers per Default as > 0 on the Test Configuration tab Tcl Parameter: TyCcClnUeInitsBearerEn_0 Values: True, False
Use the Modify Bearer to enable UEs to send requests to modify uplink/downlink values of previously established bearers.
Select Include ARP (Priority of Allocation and Retention) to determine the relative priority level during admission and congestion processes. The primary purpose of ARP is to decide whether a bearer establishment/modification request is accepted or needs to be rejected in case of resource limitations (typically available radio capacity in case of GBR bearers). In addition, the ARP is also used (e.g. by the eNodeB) to decide which bearer(s) to drop during exceptional resource limitations (e.g. at handover). Once successfully established, a bearer's ARP does not have any impact on the bearer level packet forwarding treatment (e.g. scheduling and rate control). Tcl Parameter: TyCcClnArpEn_0 Default: False (enabler values: true/false)
Tcl Parameter: TyCcClnArpValue_0 Range: 1 - 15 Default: 1
Tcl Parameter: TyCcClnArpPreemptCapEn_0 Default: False (enabler values: true/false)
Tcl Parameter: TyCcClnArpPreemptVulEn_0 Default: False (enabler values: true/false) |
The Aggregate Maximum Bit Rate Information element indicates the IP flow Aggregate Maximum Bit Rate for UL and DL traffic. The rate defined here applies to the established default bearers. Tcl Parameter: TyCcClnAmbrEn_0
Select the number of packet Filters per Bearer for the Bearers per Session from the drop-down list. Options: 0, 1, 2 Default: 1
The QOS Class ID for Charging Rules indicate the maximum authorized QOS class that may be defined for each Charging Rule. Enter the appropriate QOS Class ID and define the associated charging rules. Tcl Parameter: TyCcClnReqQci_0 |
Enter Filter information, and User IP to Dest IP or Dest IP to User IP defined for the bearer.
The Precedence parameter is also used to indicate the evaluation precedence of the packet filters.
When you select Enable Simulated Usages in the Default Bearers sub-tab (s), the PCEF accumulates the simulated usages and sends reports to PCRF when the accumulated volume reaches the threshold you specified for Uplink and Downlink.
The number of Dedicated Bearers per Default tabs (labeled D0-B0, D1-B0, ...Dn-Bn) available for configuration depends on the number of Dedicated Bearers per Default you selected on the Test Configuration tab. Configure the rates, delays, uplink/downlink for packet filters.
Tcl Parameter: TyCcClnReqQci_0_0 |
Enter Filter information, and User IP to Dest IP or Dest IP to User IP defined for the bearer.
The Precedence parameter is also used to indicate the evaluation precedence of the packet filters.

When you select Enable Simulated Usages in the Dedicated Bearers per Default sub-tab (s), the PCEF accumulates the simulated usages and sends reports to PCRF when the accumulated volume reaches the threshold you specified for Uplink and Downlink.
