If it becomes necessary to perform extensive troubleshooting on your system, you may be asked by your customer service representative to capture the debug logs. You can use the TAS Manager Console or the TAS Manager Web UI to save a debug log file to your machine, which can then be emailed to your customer service representative.
To save the debug logs:
Select System > Get Debug Logs from the TAS Manager Console menu and a Save window is displayed.
Select the name and location for the log file. You can save the file to any local or network drive available to your machine.
Click OK to save the file.
Select TAS Manager Web UI | Actions | Get Debug Logs to generate the taslogs.jar file. In the Console window you will see "Saving debug logs...", " Generating Real-time Logs", "Done generating real-time logs", "Jarring up log files to /usr/sms/taslogs.jar", "Created file /usr/sms/taslogs.jar", "Downloading taslogs.zip".
Send the log file to the address supplied by your representative.
